Internship interview prep: the 30-minute framework

If you have less than an hour before an internship interview, spend it on these four things rather than trying to revise everything.
Minutes 0–10: re-read the listing and the company. Note the responsibilities that repeat, the tools mentioned, and one recent thing the company shipped or announced. You want two or three concrete hooks you can reference naturally.
Minutes 10–20: prepare three stories. One about something you built or figured out, one about working with other people, and one about a time something went wrong. Keep each to about a minute: situation, what you did, what happened.
Minutes 20–25: write down two questions. Ask about what the first month looks like, or how the team measures whether an intern did well. Avoid questions a quick search would answer.
Minutes 25–30: sort out logistics. Test the video link, silence notifications, and have your CV and a notepad next to you.
Interviewers are mostly checking whether you're curious, clear, and easy to work with. Preparation is how you show all three without having to claim any of them.
